The sooner we can have a messianic yeshiva, the better, and the sooner we have one, the sooner I will join it.

I enjoyed and appreciated not only your article , but the vision you have for beginning where Jewish people are in their life experience and helping them to see beyond that to the reality that Messiah has indeed come. I write about Bible characters who were unlikely believers, Nicodemus for example. My third book will be about Matthew, the tax collector. I try to be as authentic to the culture and other Scripture as possible. My question – At what age would a Galilean boy begin his Yeshiva classes? Would a synagogue leader like Jairus in Capernaum likely be a teacher?

Hey there my name is Kevin Chu and I am actually good friends with your daughter Danah as we both go to the same Messianic Synagogue in Agoura Hills CA Beth Emunah and Danah was telling me that the fact that you got your Rabbinics license from an Orthodox Jewish Yeshiva in Israel is far superior than a UMJC rabbinic’s license and you could do far more with it because of that. I hope to see a Messianic Yeshuva started in Israel or at least somewhere in the US so that I can be fully equipped to fulfill my calling to reach Orthodox Jews around the world with the Gospel. Thanks for this idea I will spread it.

Not so sure about the rationale to establish “a yeshiva” that reverts to old ways and protocol when Yeshua Himself fulfilled ALL that was in the Tenach and presented a NEW and LIVING way.
I am a Jewish believer who came away from ALL THAT Tradition and observances, without losing my Jewishness, followed the dictates of Paul’s soundings to be rooted and grounded in the foundations of the Gospel, to be convinced and convicted by the Holy Spirit , the Spirit of Truth. To espouse the very substance of “THE SHEMA” and to follow Yeshua by the renewing of the mind with the objective of being conformed to the Image of the Meshiach! Give us learning leading and instruction by all means but in a tangible acceptable adaptable method!! Todah raba!

The sooner the better! If the Lord spoke so, then start it!

Mr. Shulam, hit the nail on the head with his two opening suppositions. In fact, the Gentile world has a great deal to learn from Torah Study that they somehow lost over the course of the last two millenia.
I’d like to see a Messianic Yeshiva established completely by Jewish believers in Yeshua who come from Orthodox backgrounds, so that the arguements from the anti-missionaries of Western Missionaries posing as Messianic Jews could be thwarted. We need Messianic Centers of learning developed and staffed by Jews for Jews, so that the Torah can be shared with the rest of World!
The way I see it, the Western Christian is a man with one leg; he has Messiah but no obedience. The Orthodox Jew knows Torah but without Yeshua, and is suffering a missing leg without knowing it. We need complete men–we need Messianic Yeshivas.
