The Jerusalem Prayer List – May 27, 2011

Praying for Israel is becoming a challenge for those who are not clear about the Biblical perspective. The new reality that is setting into the Middle East after Barak Obama’s speech and Benjamin Netanyahu’s presentation in front of both houses and the reaction of the Palestinian authority requires us all to pray much more intensely. Some top Palestinian politicians have called the Palestinian people to do the same kind of uprising like in Tunis and Egypt. There are forces in our region on both sides who would love to set the whole region on fire. The fires of hate against Jews and Israel are nothing to ignore, but also not a reason to become paranoid. Our trust is in God and God's wonderful promises are still standing and very much alive. It does not matter if ou agree or disagree with Bibi Netanyahu's speech, or with what President Barak Obama said, what matters is how much we relay and trust on the Lord and standing on His promises. God is giving every friend that Israel has and every disciple of Yeshua an opportunity now to seriously intercede for Israel and the Middle East and for all the people who live here. No one would like to see more bloodshed in the Middle East, least of all the people of the State of Israel. We have clear instructions give to us by our Messiah of how to act. Please pray for the Lord to intervene as He did in our history and bring a divine move to make the reconciliation of Israel possible first for inside the nation among Jews, and second reconciliation with our Arab/Palestinian neighbors that hate us with such a deep blind hate and don't seem to really want to make peace with Israel or even recognize our right to exist. I pray for all the factions of the Palestinian people to see the reality and get off the morose and sad dream of someday casting all the Jews into the Mediterranean Sea. We are here to say, stay throughout the rest of human history on this planet called Earth. I also pray for the United States of America and ask God to bless America and give the American Christians a very clear Biblical view of God's promises and of the nation of Israel.
Last week I did not have time to write a prayer letter. This week it is almost the same situation. It is late at night now. I have spent the day in conference with a dear friends and brother from Finland, and had teaching on the Radio today, and a class in the afternoon and than took two very fine brothers from N.C. To dinner, and came home to deal with other problems, and get ready for the lectureship tomorrow, and write this prayer list too. So, please continue to pray for Netivyah and the many wonderful things that Netivyah does to serve the Body of the Messiah in Israel and abroad. Please pray for the sick brothers and sisters that I have listed in the last few weeks.
We continue to pray for the sick among our brothers and friends: Ruby, Tim Tucker, Paulo, Liz, June, Horace, Anna Majia, Ishiida San, Abe San's mother in law who is way over 90 years old and has been praying for Israel's salvation for over 75 years. In Israel we continue to lift up for divine healing, Liora, Ahuva, Ilana, Leah, Sarit, Marcia, Merav, David, and David S., and myself, and Marcia. Especially pray for Danah and Noaam, Beth and Joseph, who are getting ready to come and visit us in Israel, and pray for the forum that our Japanese brothers and a set of Israeli brothers will have next week in Jerusalem, and for the conference near Bologna, Italy, that will also begin next week. We are not letting any grass grown under our feet, but we might have to get a Sag-way to be able to catch up with our own selves.
Please trust God and all His promises! Keep praying for us and for Israel, and wait to see the salvation of the Lord break through like sunrise in a cloudy morning.
