The Jerusalem Prayer List – June 25 2009

Evangelism is much like fatherhood.  You plant a seed and you have no idea what will happen with that seed.  In a way it is a gamble because you have very little control of it after you drop it into the ground.  You always hope for the best and prepare for the worst.  Evangelism is not an exact science it is an art and after being two weeks in Finland and teaching the Word of God is so many venues and meeting some of the people that I had the privilege to saw the seed into their lives it is such a wonderful thing to see the Hand of God producing good fruit.  In the 1980's I had the chance to teach and to share with many young people who are now pushing 50 years of age and now they have their own children and they themselves are teaching others.  I remember the words of the Psalmist who said, “You shall see sons to your sons and peace upon all of Israel.”  What a great joy it is to see the children of my children in the faith and to see them growing and maturing and walking with the Lord.  What a great joy it is to see the next generation contending for a pure and mature and active faith!  I do believe that there is a good future to the Restoration Movement in Finland and that our prayers and your contributions that made it possible for a Jew from Israel to come up here in the North of Europe and share from God's Word and see fruit in the Holy Spirit and sons of faith to the sons of faith is a part of the fulfillment of God's promise.  

Please keep Finland in your prayers the following brothers and sisters in Finland in your prayers for healing and comfort and peace:  Helena and T.H., and A.M. and Dr. Tim Tucker, all of those are here in Finland and suffer from serious health problems.  I pray especially for Ilana our dister from Jerusalem who is now in Finland seeking medical help for a persistent health problem in her ears.  I pray for the spiritual growth of brothers and sisters and for financial blessing upon the young families and young man and women who are students in the Universities working hard to keep body and soul and at the same time doing school work and also holding bible studies in their small student apartments.  We are talking of real spiritual ferment that can bring a revival to shake the foundations of this country for the blessing of God, Yeshua, Finland and even Israel.

Please pray for this week-end's seminar in the middle of Finland.  We have radio work conference with many people from all around Finland participating and we are so glad to be able to partner with others from all around the world who are preaching the Word of God on the Radio.  Keep Kol HaYeshua Radio broadcasts in your prayers.  Kol HaYeshua is a very big project that costs a whole lot of money to broadcast and also to produce, but it is the only Hebrew language broadcast of the Good News of Yeshua in the World.  We have a great challenge and a great opportunity to do this wonderful work of spreading the Good News of Yeshua to the whole Middle East and even north to Ukraine and East to the Persian Gulf.  

Please pray for the following sick in the United States:  Ruby and her mother in OKC.  Liz and Mary, and Paulo in Brazil.  

Please pray for the health of the following brothers and sisters in Israel: Aggi and Sharon in Israel and Sara and Zvi in Jerusalem, and Sarit, Lea, Ahuva, Miriam, Bat-Sheva, and of course Marcia my wife.

Please keep me also in your prayers.  

I will keep this letter short and just tell you that we have had so many extra expenses this last month dealing with building emergencies and repair work on the building.  We are still working on not cutting more people who receive food from the Soup-Kitchen and we need your prayers and your help on these issues.  

God bless you all and bless us in our travels across the Atlantic Ocean in the next two days.
