The Jerusalem Prayer List – January 15, 2010
By Joseph Shulam

On the first day of the week, right after the Sabbath day ends at Sunset, the Lord willing, Marcia and I will fly to the United States and we will visit California for several days and from there I shall, the Lord willing, fly to Atlanta Georgia to spend a few days with the North Atlanta and also a few days with Beit Hallel congregation near Atlanta.  After Atlanta I shall be in Middle Tennessee with Barry our son and his family and with the North Blvd. congregation in Murfreesboro.  From Nashville we shall fly to Miami, Florida, and from there to Recife, Brazil.  All this travel is to encourage brothers and sisters and strengthen them by sharing from the Word of God and allowing the Word to communicate strength and efficiency to these brothers and sisters in the United States and in Brazil.   We need your prayers for this trip.  We need God’s protection and keeping us healthy and without accidents.

We have new babies in our congregation and we pray that they will be well protected from the Swine Flu that several of our members and leaders have contracted.  Those who got the Swine Flue are doing better but we pray that our babies nad babies on the way will be safe.

There are several very important and interesting developments that have national and international ramifications in Israel concerning the Jewish Disciples of Yeshua in this land, but at this time we can’t write about them or talk about them.  The Lord God of Israel is at work in this land and in the hearts of His people Israel.  You need to pray that we, the Jewish Disciples of Yeshua in this land keep time and walk with God so that He does not pass us and keep going and we are left behind.  God’s promises are without repentance and He remains steadfast and faithful in all times.  Pray!

We have to keep praying for the sick that we know.  It is a Mitzvah a command, a good deed, and a privilege to come to our Father’s throne begging and pleading for the healing of our friends and brothers even when they are on the other side of the globe.

Please keep Sara and Zvi in your prayers, and Sarit, Miriam, Ahuva, Ilana, Leah, David and the other David who has the Swine Flu, and in Brazil keep Paulo in your prayers, and in Oklahoma we have Ruby who is suffering pain for so long and needs a miracle from God to restore her strength and her health.  In Finland we have Dr. Tim Tucker, and Tellervo, who are both in the same city and just a block from each other in different nursing homes.  They are both wonderful servants of God that have done so much for the Kingdom in the many years of service and even in their very serious illness have continued to put God first in their lives.

We have lost a very dear sister in Finland, Helena Saari.  She was a school teacher in a rural area in West Finland and she and Tellervo were among the first in Finland who have taken up the Restoration plea and have been instrumental in the baptism and commitment of hundreds of people around Finland.  Our dear sister Helena has gone to be with the Lord several months ago.

I ask you to keep praying for the lost Jews of Portugal and their reclamation by the State of Israel.  The conference that we are planning is progressing well. I am looking forward to a very wonderful breakthrough for both the Jewish community worldwide and for the opening of the eyes and true repentance of the Historical churches like Rome and all of its Protestant daughters and Constantinople and the Orthodox churches to repent for all the torture and hate and suffering that they have caused to the world and especially to the Jewish people under the shadow of the cross.  There has to come some reconciliation between the so called Christian establishment and the nation of Israel.  The pain and memory of what was done to the people of Israel in the name of Jesus is still so deep and so big and unless this wound is healed there is little chance of a breakthrough and restoration of Yeshua to His rightful place in the heart of Israel.  I hope and pray that this conference in Portugal that will take place at the end of this year will be a tool and an instrument to at least deal with this pain from within the Jewish family of peoples.  Please lift this project in your prayers and help make it a successful reality by your support.

The humanitarian work that Netivyah is doing is growing and it is a model for others in Israel.  We are becoming more and more efficient with the food distribution and daily people are coming to register and receive food.  We have cut down the cooking a little and people prefer to receive products and cook for themselves which makes it easier for us and we need less working hands and less cleaning and that makes it possible for us to provide for more people.  Please keep this good work in your prayers.

Well, keep the Roeh Israel congregation in your prayers at this time as Marcia and I will be gone for forty days and ask God to bless the serving leaders and teachers.

Well, I wish all of you a wonderful week-end and blessings and when you have a minute or two please go to our web page and hear good teaching and read good material and download podcasts:  www.netivyah.org
