The Jerusalem Prayer List – February 25th, 2010

We are back home in Israel. It was 45 days of travel and teaching just about every single day somewhere between California, Georgia, Tennessee in the United States, and in Brazil in Recife, Vitoria, Belo-Horizonte, and Curitiba. The trip back was very long because we actually were on the way for 44 hours total, but we are finally at home and had a good rest last night and are almost back to regular activities.
We have some big concerns that need your prayers urgently:
1. We have a very young baby (two months old) that according to the doctors needs a complicated heart surgery. Please lift baby N before the Lord! God is merciful to all we especially ask him to save and bless this innocent baby and heal her and give here a normal childhood and become a useful and contributing citizen of Israel and of the Kingdom of God in this country. The surgery is scheduled for this next Sunday in Jerusalem. Please don't forget to pray for this baby and for the family and for the doctors to be wise and skillful and see this family through this ordeal with God's help.
2. We have been blessed to have wonderful brothers and sisters in the whole world and we have raised with God's help a sum of near 250,000 dollars for the building project. We will need at least another million dollars before we can start building. This building is not the most important thing now the winning of the supreme court case in Israel is much more important. We are upright citizens of the State of Israel and we love our people and we think that the most important thing for Israel is to be righteous and Godly and not give a hand to racism or discrimination or violence or persecution on the basis of race or religion. Israel can't afford to water down it's commitment to being a democratic state with rights and freedom for all it's citizens. It is bad for Israel to be allowing religious extremists to freely persecute and harrase and threaten peaceful Jewish and non-Jewish citizens just because they are Christians or because they are disciples of Yeshua the Messiah of Israel. We must win this supreme court case and we must stand on our rights as Jews and as equal citizens in this country. So, please pray for us and for our lawyers and help us win this case and remodel our building to serve the community of believers in this city without impunity. A suggestion was made in Korea by a real old lady who suggested that 1000 people would give 1000 dollars each and the money would be raised. Well, that would be wonderful if we had 1000 people who would give 1000 dollars, but since we don't know if there would be 1000 people and you can give 2000 dollars or much more for this project.
3. Please pray for the project in Portugal. We have to get the invitations sent soon and the commitment of many people from all around the world is already made. We have been blessed with a commitment to a sizable contribution from a small but very dedicated church in Seoul, Korea, that has sown the seed of faith into this project. Now I ask you all to lift up the hidden Jews of Portugal before the Lord so that He can release them from their captivity and restore their faith and their true identity.
4. Please keep Danah and Noaam in your prayers. There are some special needs that both of them have that God can heal and strengthen and bless. Lift Danah and Noaam before the Lord and ask for His healing and strength.
5. Keep praying for the food distribution in Jerusalem. We are bombarded daily with people who have a need for food. We can't keep saying “no” to these people. We have to enlarge the number of people who are receiving food from our program.
6. We have several people in Jerusalem who are in need of special help, some are unemployed others have some medical needs that they can't cover financially. We normally help our brothers and sisters who are have these special needs because we believe in a merciful God hears the prayers of His children and answers them at times through their brothers and sisters. Lift us up to be able to become tools in the hands of the Almighty One of Israel and help our brothers and sisters to be delivered from shame and provide the love that is a mighty sign of your presence.
7. Keep praying for the sick in our congregation and for Paulo in Brazil and Ruby in Oklahoma and Tim Tucker and Tellervo in Finland. The sick in our congregation are Ahuva, and Leah, Ilana, Miriam, Sarit, Sara and Zvi, and Tatiana, and N our dear new baby who needs an additional measure of healing and grace.
8. Please pray for Marcia to be healed from her illnesses.
9. Please pray for the many wonderful single men and women in the Body of the Messiah to find their mates and build good and healthy and loving and providing families as a witness to the power of the Almighty One of Israel in blessing His children and the whole nation of Israel.
10. Please pray for Brazil and for our brothers and sisters in Brazil who are struggling to do wonderful things for the Kingdom of God. The international conference that we had last week in Brazil had more than 500 delegates from all around Brazil and even some from England and other countries in central and south America. There are forces who don't like this work and are doing all kinds of things to disrupt and harass and damage this wonderful work of the Lord. We lift up our brothers and sisters in Brazil, in Belo-Horizonte, Vitoria, Recife, Curitiba and Sao Paulo, there is some good work being done in the city of Rio de Janeiro and Salvador, but the Lord needs to make some order and re-order in these two cities to make sure that their commitment is to the Restoration of biblical faith and integrity.
Thank you dear brothers and sisters for your prayers. Israel will be saved because the Almighty God has promised it, and we are His partners on this Earth that make sure that our Father in Heaven's will is going to be accomplished and seen and His name praised. You are the tools in God's hand to do His will. We are the workmen of His love down here on this Earth. We are not angles!
