The Jerusalem Prayer List – August 26, 2010

This prayer list is coming to you from Brazil, it is a prayer list with a samba twist!  Although I can't say that I know how to dance the Samba, but we are intensely employed in teaching and ministry with our dear brothers and sisters in Congregation Har Zion in Belo-Horizonte, Brazil. 

We are video recording short six hour long seminars on a few topics for broadcasting on the internet for students all around Brazil and also Portugal and even in Israel.  David Young the preacher from North Boulevard in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is here with us and he did a masterful job teaching church History in six hours.  These recording are going to continue to serve disciples for a long time even when we are not in Brazil.  It is a very good way to duplicate the effort multiple times over.  The congregations in Brazil are maturing and growing but in the process there is always no little pruning that takes place.  We are here to help put some comforting salve after the pruning process.  Marcia is with me in Brazil and it her first trip after the knee replacement surgery two months ago. 

Please pray for our congregation in Jerusalem.  There are always challenges and the latest one is that our dear brother Udi has lost his mother and Shaul has lost his grandmother. Udi and Shaul and Erin are sitting Sheevah (seven days of mourning).  Please pray for this family who is so important to the Lord's ministry and send comfort and consolation from above. 

Please continue to pray for Marcia's healing.  Pray for the older folk in our congregation in Jerusalem, Ahuva, Leah, Sara and Zvi, Sarit, the two Davids, and for Ruby.  I have news that our dear brother Tim Tucker has had a turn for the worst in his A.L.S. illness and now he can't really do e-mail or even pick up the phone.  We all must lift Tim before the Lord and pray for healing and mercy.  The last time we saw Tim in Finland he had so many plans to do great things for the Kingdom of God.  We just pray and lift him up before the mercy seat of the Lord and ask that His grace and mercy will endure in Tim's life and that he will be able to finish that which he has started.  Keep Tellervo also in your prayers for healing and strength and add to your prayers our dear sister Anna.  These women of valor were the pioneers of bringing the Restoration Movement to Finland and we will never be able to thank them enough or lift them before the throne of God enough for what they did with their faith and with their lives for both the Body of the Messiah and for Israel. 

We need special prayer for the Conference in Portugal in December this year.  It is such an important conference and it has so much potential to serve the Jewish people and the Kingdom of God that words can't describe the great potential and prophetic significance of this conference.  For this reason the forces of darkness are gathering around to sabotage this important event.  We need wisdom and strength and a whole lot of courage to make this happen.  Those of you who are planning to come and attend please register as soon as you can.  You must start the process now by going to the web page of the conference and registering there and giving your information there so that you can be contacted by the EuroMar Travel Agency and do the final arrangements for your participation in this event that will take place in Castelo de Vide, Portugal, on December 3-6, 2010 and after the conference the optional tour of Inquisition sites from December 6-9, 2010.  Here is the web page that you need to enter and register:  http://www.anussimconference.com/

Please pray for this conference and also register as soon as possible. 

Please pray for Kol HaYeshua Radio broadcasting.  We have some great teaching and fine programs going out in the air every night and we need to see the Lord bless these broadcasting and bringing Good News to a land and a people who have had thousands of years of mainly bad news.  Your prayers really matter and really ought to have power and bring changes in the heavenly courts that will affect what happens here in the Earthly planes.

The Food Distribution program of Netivyah is starting again (after vacation) next week and I ask you to pray for the people who are elderly and poor and sickly and needy that come to get food for themselves and sometimes for whole families.  We have such wonderful promises of God in the Bible and there should not be such poverty and misery in the City of the Great King in Jerusalem.  We are glad to have a small part in helping the poor of Jerusalem, but we pray for the time where there will be no sick and no poor and no needy in this city but the presence of God Himself will fill every home and everyone will be called “Blessed in the Lord.” 

I will cut this prayer list short and bless all of you who mourn for Zion now to be comforted and blessed forever in the joy of Zion. 

I just got news from Jerusalem that another one of our congregational kids in the Army received the honor of being an excelling soldier.  Almost all the kids from our congregation have received this award and we are so proud of our kids and bless them for their wonderful witness of what the Good News of Yeshua can do for a person.

Blessings to all of you and please keep us in your prayers and keep blessing Israel and praying for the Peace of Jerusalem remembering the promises of God all come true.
