I wish all my friends were dogs, and all of Israel's friends were dogs. There is an advantage for having friends who are dogs. Dogs are man's best friends they stay loyal to their friends. They very seldom or never bite their friends. I have seen children do some of the most horrible things to their dogs and the dogs stay playful and cheerful and wag their tails. This last week we have seen Europe and South America and Russia and the good old U.S. of A. define the ultimate meaning of the word Hypocrisy. Every day the soldiers of United States, Great Britain, France, Spain, and some Germans too, fight the terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan and deliver the non-violent kiss of death to hundreds of insurgents. Read the following announcement from CNN from June 1, 2010: "Al Qaeda announced the death of Mustafa Abu Yazid in a message posted on such websites Monday, the Maryland-based SITE Intelligence Group said. While the message didn't detail the circumstances of Yazid's death, it did say his wife, three of his daughters, a granddaughter and others were killed, according to SITE."

Please note, Yazid the El-Qaeda terrorist was killed! Good! How about his wife, three of his daughters, a granddaughter and others? How many others were killed with Yazid by an American unmanned flying machine who fired the rocket from the air? Did anyone hear a condemnation of the United States? Were there anti-American demonstrations in London, or Paris or Berlin, or Istanbul? This just happened a few days ago, on the same day that Israel stopped the "un-love boat" organized by Islamo-Fascists terrorist organization, the Hamas from GAZA and El-Qaeda and Hezbollah. All three organizations have been branded as "Terrorist Organizations" by the United States and by Western Europe. Now can you imagine that a flotilla of such "un-love-boats" would approach the boarders of the United States, or France or Sweden, what would happen? I will tell you what will happen the US Coast Guard will announce to the boats to stop and if they don't stop the US Coast Guard will try to get into these "un-love-boats" and if they don't allow them to board the boats they will give them a warning shot and then shoot them out of the water - complete the job. Israel is almost alone in the world now days. The only thing that Israel has to relay on is on the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and on His promises. I expect that all those who read the Bible would be wise enough to hear the whole story of how our soldiers were attacked by brutal terrorists with wooden and iron clubs, knifes, stun grenades, chains, sling-shots with metal ball-bearings, and hand-guns, and sundry other weapons of hate. The Lord God of Israel and the Father of our Messiah is our witness and our judge. He the One Almighty God who created the Heavens and the Earth will also judge all the nations. All you have to do is just open the judgment Scenes in God's Word and see what will happen to the nations of the world who don't know God and don't know His Son! The Israel soldiers fought the terrorist on board the Marmaris Boat for 40 minutes before they shoot the first shoot in self-defense.

Talking about infidels - in the last days God will show to all Flesh who the infidels really are and what will happen to them for eternity. I want to be on the side of those who walk with God and speak the truth and stand on His promises. The Messiah is coming back and all flesh will stand before His judgment seat, get ready to see the that God is faithful to keep His Word. "All those who bless the Seed of Abraham will be blessed and all those who curse the seed of Abraham will be . . . ." ON which side are you going to be!

All this does not mean that Israel has not made mistakes and that Israel does not have to own up to the mistakes that it makes, but today I can say that Israel is not and in this case has not been hypocritical. I can also say that Israel did not know how to play the world media like the terrorist did, and that it was a big mistake for Israeli soldiers to get on these boats and absorb the blows and to have to kill people to defend themselves. But, again I can say that Israel is not perfect but it has every right to defend itself. Israel could stop the 100 big double carriage trucks from taking food and fuel and medication and everything else into Gaza every day. Israel could stop giving electricity and water to Gaza and allow Turkish ships to bring everything into Gaza instead. How long do you think that the Turks would do this kind of "humanitarian" aid if the Palestinians would shoot rockets on Istanbul, Izmir or Ankara? This has been our situation in Israel. We give them food and fuel and electricity and water and they shoot rockets into our cities. If Israel would open up the blockade on Gaza it would not be two months before Gaza becomes a base for long range North Korean Rockets supplied through Iran and Hezbollah and El-Qaeda terrorists. Israel is not yet a Holy Priesthood and a Holy Nation, but I repeat that it is also not yet hypocritical like some of our “best friends.”

Please pray for Israel and for the wisdom of our leadership! May be with God’s help and with a little bit of help from our friends we can overcome. We can hold hands for peace. Now to other subjects that may be more important to some people. We have a long list of people who are sick and need your prayers. We have Adam a young brother who produces some of Kol HaYeshua programs who is in the hospital and needs the loving and healing hand of God to touch him now and hear our prayers. We have Danah our daughter who is in need of God’s mercy to be demonstrated in her life in healing and much more. We pray for Deborah our dear sister in Philly, PA, who also needs God's hand to touch her with healing. Marcia my wife, who is getting ready for a knee replacement surgery in just a few short weeks. We pray for Ahuva, Ilana, Leah, Sarit, David 1, and David 2, and Ruby, Paulo, Tim Tucker, and Tellervo. We have a family of dear Disciples of Yeshua who are very sick and need not one miracle but many miracles and I ask you to pray for Hava, Yonathan, and Daniel. Ask God to have mercy on this family. We also pray for a dear sister from Muslim background whose name is Naama. She too needs multiple miracles to be healed and restored in every way by God's grace and healing.

I ask you to pray for a few people who need jobs and work and income. Please pray for Ronen, a dear blind brother who has been teaching Hebrew and is one of our listeners from Kol HaYeshua Radio and has lost his job. The J.M. family needs work and income. The A.T. family needs work. The S.N. family has also needs to be hired with a good job. We are helping with what we can help in these cases but without God's help our help would be of little value. We lift up those Jewish and Arab brothers and the Lord willing we shall do all we can with the resources that God would provide through faithful brothers and sisters who want to help.

The Lord willing, I shall be traveling on Sunday to Portugal and next Thursday to Finland. In Portugal I shall meet with Marcelo and Matheus our dear brothers from Brazil and we will have meetings with the leadership of the city of Castelo de Vide, and with several of the professors from the University of Oporto and the other Universities to organize the final program for the Conference in December 2010. Please lift these meetings and travel to the altar of God and ask for a blessing and protection from above to envelope us during these discussions and decision making process. From Portugal the three of us, Marcelo, Matheus, and I will travel to Finland to participate in the annual seminar in Karmel Koti and some meetings in Helsinki. Please pray that these meetings will be blessed and that our brothers and sisters in Finland will be blessed and will be able to continue blessing Israel and especially Netivyah. Yuda our youth minister in Jerusalem will join me in Finland next week and continue to teach and speak in different places and in seminars because I shall return to Israel to help Marcia through the knee replacement surgery. Keep Yuda in your prayers and ask for special protection on his health and on his travel and a wonderful endowment of spiritual blessings from every word that comes out of his mouth.

Kol HaYeshua Radio is getting some interesting responses and especially through the podcasts on our web page (www.netivyah.org). I received the following letter this week: “Shalom Brother Shulam-- Thank you very much for the chapter in your book on Romans 11. It is such a blessing and I am looking forward to getting all of your book on of Romans. It was exciting to get an e-mail from someone I saw on Zola Levitt's show 20 years ago. Your podcasts on your lessons about the Passover and the Lord's Supper, and also, your lessons on Restoring the New Testament Church are such a blessing. I drive a lot in my job, so it was joy to listen to you on your podcasts today. I have to say "Amen" to everything you said. I grew up in a pro-Israel home in Kentucky and have roots to the Restoration Movement. I liked what you said about restoring the church back to Jerusalem instead of Rome. It is frustrating to me to see how much Rome still influences what is done and believed in some of the churches of Christ in America today. Something is wrong when more time is spent on the announcements than the Lord's Supper. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Jackson, TN”

Please pray for Netivyah and do all you can to help us with funds for the needy and hungry and for the project in Portugal and for the building fund and for publication. All of these projects are unique and special and successful in presenting a different witness from that which has been presented by the traditional Christian missionaries. To have Jews speak of the Jewish Messiah in a Jewish way is still not so common even in Israel today. Pray for us, please! We need God's help and your help too.
