I just finished to teach a course on Angels in Amsterdam and tomorrow, God willing, I shall fly to Tennessee. Saturday evening I will start a week-end seminar on the topic of my new book that has already come out in Hebrew and soon will come out in English. The English title of the book will be: Planted in the House of the L-rd: G-d, Israel, and the Church. The seminar will be in the North Boulevard church of Christ in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Please pray for the success of this seminar and for the people who are going to attend it. The purpose of this teaching is to awaken three thing connected fundamentally connected with each other, God and Israel, Israel and the church, and God with the church.
Please pray for the food distribution program in Jerusalem. The new system is going to start working from the first week of February 2011. Until that time we are still distributing food according to the old system. However today I have already received a letter from the director of the social services of one of Jerusalem's neighborhood who has a list of people whom he wants to refer to our program. This is just great and just what we have been praying for God to do for us. We want professional social workers to do the choosing and take care of the referrals so that we don't have to every day say “yes” or “no” to little old ladies who are coming with tears in their eyes asking for help. I know that this sounds cold, but the truth is that it is better for professional personal who are trained to actually do this work. Please pray for us so that we can do a great job providing top quality food and create good will and true service for the needy population of Jerusalem. We feel that this work has Scriptural mandate when Paul writes in Romans 15:25-27, “But now, I am going to Jerusalem serving the saints. For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem. Yes, they were pleased to do so, and they are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things.”
Kol HaYeshua is doing some great quality programs for the Radio and we are now broadcasting only 30 minutes per day, seven days per week, but we are still hopeful and praying and hoping to see a miracle that will restore the 30 minutes per day that we lost when T.T.B. stopped supporting T.W.R. Hebrew programs. We have had some very gracious friends from Korea who have contributed toward this project, but far from being enough. I have spoken with the director of European T.W.R. And calculated with him the total cost for adding those 30 minutes that we have lost. The amount of money necessary is near 200,000 dollars and right now we are not even thinking that this would be possible, but may be we could add another 15 minutes of broadcasting if the Lord would provide the means.
In all ways the programs that we are producing are being broadcast and we are thankful to God for T.W.R., and their interest in the people of Israel and in the Middle East and in the preaching of the Good News enough to provide for us this great opportunity to present Yeshua the Messiah of Israel to the people of Israel every night. Please pray for God to bless T.W.R., and Kol HaYeshua in this only one of it's kind ministry of broadcasting in the Hebrew language the message of the Hebrew Messiah Yeshua.
Please continue to pray for the court hearing that is coming up in the end of March 2011. This court hearing is in the High Court of Israel and it is an appeal that is made against the decision of the district court of Israel to allow us to build an extra floor on our building and expand the interior of our auditorium. We need your prayers because this is a first class spiritual battle over our civil rights as Jews and as citizens of a democratic state of Israel to be equal in the eyes of the law. We need your prayer support for this court hearing because this is all not only for our good as a community of Jewish Disciples of Yeshua but it is for the good of all of Israel and our basic civil rights. Israel can not be a democracy if it does not treat equally all of it's citizens and if discrimination between people comes on the basis of race and faith.
Please also pray for our soldiers. We have at least half a dozen soldiers from our congregation in the Israel army and we need you to support these fine young men and women with your prayers. We are planning on organizing some special gift for more than 100 soldiers in the Israel army who are disciples of Yeshua and children of disciples of Yeshua and who are faithfully serving this nation with excellence.
Please continue to pray for all the sick on the list that I sent last week and remember my family and me in your prayers.
God bless all of you and provide you with your hearts desires only that which is good for you and for His Kingdom now and forever!
