Jerusalem’s Jubilee (50 years from the 6th Day war in 1967) was truly a great celebration in Jerusalem. Christian tourists came from all around the world, and the Koreans outdid them all. They had a “Shalom Yerushalayim” festival with colorful shows and a wonderful traditional Korean fashion. The Israeli public came to the International Congress Center in Jerusalem and filled it and there were several Rabbis and Parliament members from Israel and from the United States who participated. In a time when the United Nations are making declarations that are far from reality and from the Bible – these thousands of Christians have come to stand with Israel and with Jerusalem and to celebrate the Jubilee of Jerusalem together with the people of Israel. Please continue to pray for Israel and for Jerusalem and don’t forget to pray for Netivyah and the many wonderful projects that it has been and continues to carry on for so many years. Jerusalem needs your prayers and Netivyah needs your prayers. It is the responsibility of all Disciples of Yeshua and followers of THE WAY to do good to all men, but first of all to those of the household of faith.
I will keep this prayer list short because of time constraint and ask you to pray for the following needs that we have in Netivyah. Your prayers will be heard by HEAVEN and we pray and hope that the LORD will answer your prayers and say “Well done my servants! You have prayed for Jerusalem and for the saints in my city and you have done what you could do to be a blessing in your actions and giving.”
Next week Marcia and I will travel to Finland for 8 days to do the annual seminar in Karmel Koti and visit the congregation in Espoo and other brothers and sisters in Finland. From Finland we will travel to the USA to participate in Lipscomb’s Summer Celebration and also meet with brothers and sisters to both encourage them and to be encouraged ourselves. We need your prayers for this trip, for safety, and for both Marcia and myself to feel good and be able to minister and teach our brothers in Finland and in the USA.
We need your prayers for Netivyah in the USA. Our board will be meeting toward the end of June to make some important decisions and add a new board member. Netivyah in the USA needs your prayers.
Please pray for Kol HaYeshua – we need to move on and broadcast on FM radio, but we have not been successful to secure a local commercial station that would be willing to work with us. I am asking you to pray for this project. Kol HaYeshua Radio is the only radio broadcast in the world of the Good News of the Messiah in the Hebrew language seven days per week.
We are getting some new equipment for the radio and video recording studio and we need your help with the cost. We are getting some good camera equipment to make high quality video programs for youtube.com and other venues. The young leadership of Netivyah is convinced that the electronic media is the way to reach the most people in a reasonable cost. Netivyah is going in this direction and Barry has already ordered the equipment that we need to do an excellent job.
I copy & paste the sick list and the list of the special needs from last week. Pray for Roger, a dear brother who stands with so many good works and with Netivyah. He needs wisdom and peace and success in his work and life.
God bless all of you who pray for the Salvation of Israel and the World. We all need to make our Horizonte wider and have at least the dream and the desire to see the entire world kneel before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and be dressed in white on that day when the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall arise. If we don’t have that desire we will also not do things to make this happen. If we don’t have the faith we shall not be focused on that which is in God’s heart and desire.
Joseph and Marcia Shulam
P.S. Please pray for our Korean brothers and sisters and for our Chinese brothers and sisters and for our American brothers and sisters who are visiting Israel now.
